I'm 3000+ hours and nowadays I experiment with mod setups to get the maximum possible damage possible from a weapon. To the point that some of my current weapons can kill a room full of level 500+ SP enemies in 1-2 secs. Pushing my limits to its absolute extremes is what gives me joy now.
