To grow your foal into a rideable horse, you need to feed it. The preferred foods to be feeding your foal are, from best to worst, Asura’s Glory, Leavening Agent, Hops, Shadespiced Highland Berries, Grey-Flower Lupine, Desert Berries, Seeds, Vines, Bark, and Highland Berries. Once you’ve fed the foal enough, it will grow into an adult horse.There is no difference between foals. They all turn into the same horses when put into the stable. Though horses seem to be (though might just be my imagination) faster both can steamroll mob grade enemies by just sprinting into them. Horses are only a tiny bit faster. Not enough to be of any real use however.
