As we have mentioned before, this has been a fun learning process for us. We have visited and consulted with some excellent coaches as we have grown theses sections.

Youth football offense formations. Often considered one of the best misdirection formations in the game, it has fallen out of favor in the pro game in recent years, but is still very effective at the youth level. Wing-T Formation The Wing-T has a classic offensive line setup, with 2 guards, 2 tackles, a center, and the quarterback behind center.

Playbook: Inside and Outside Zone Playbook for Youth Football Jet Sweep. The Jet Sweep is a one of the best plays in football. It’s a great way to get your athletes the football in space very quickly. Also, you only really have to block 2-3 defenders in order to get big time yardage. Jet Sweep can be executed out of pretty much any formation.

The play-action Post-Wheel play is probably the best pass play in youth football. We run Post-Wheel off of our jet sweep and it kills defenses. This play sends the split-end on a post and the wingback or inside receiver on a wheel route.
