Shadow and fire are the best but personally I like the lore of dark magic. Blade storm and Doombolt just look awesome, Soulstealer is great for heals (but only for Malekith and Morathi really) and overcast chillwind isn't that bad for slowing down units so your shades and bolt throwers can rip them apart, although bladewind is still just better ....
