So you've probably seen this problem before. The Aetherium Forge quest, also known as "Lost to the Ages", simply refuses to start. Here are all the details and questions that I have so that you might tell me, and many other people with the same problem. about a solution. (..Or the lack of one) Reading the book titled "The Aetherium Wars" doesn't work.

When you pick up one of the shards without start the quest first it bugs out. 1.Find a copy of the book. 2.Drop the "Crystal Shard" from you inventory. It isn't quest locked so you can drop it. 3. Read the book. Quest will start and mark the map. 4. Pick up crystal shard will now be called "Aetherium Shard" and quest lock into your inventory.That should have a treasure chest, and a Shard resting on the pedestal around the back.
