I realize that I want/need a lighter, 16″ barreled AR-type .308. I guess the PTR wasn’t the end all solution for me, as Mr. Suarez want me to believe it is. For now it’s a keeper – it’s still fun and too new but I bet after the LR308 is done, I might consider selling the PTR. Then again, it’s nice to have a selection in the safe.The HK-91 system is old, but extraordinarily reliable as a battle rifle. Good ammo would usually shoot about 1-1.25 inches at 100 yards.
