Dynasys apu parts

I'm considering purchasing a Dynasys Gen II with a CAT. My understanding is this is a CAT 2 cylinder C0.5 engine. I'm wondering if anyone knows of some cheap parts for these things, specifically the Generator head seems wildly overpriced for a 6kw generator head (around $1000-1100)
